About
At Schmaltz Law, we believe that legal support should feel like a conversation with a trusted friend—someone who listens, understands, and walks alongside you every step of the way. We’re a boutique law firm offering personalized, compassionate service across two key areas: Trademark Law nationwide and Family Law throughout Arizona.
Trademark Law
Nationwide Support for Creative Entrepreneurs
Whether you're launching a new brand, protecting a logo, or expanding your business, we’re here to help secure what makes your work unique. Our trademark services extend to clients in all 50 states, and we’re proud to support small business owners, artists, artisans, and entrepreneurs across the country in building and protecting what they've worked so hard to create.
Family Law
Families First
We guide parents and couples across Arizona through life’s most personal legal challenges. From divorce to child custody and support matters, our family law team brings a balance of strength and empathy, helping you make informed decisions with your future in mind. We know family changes can be overwhelming—but you don't have to navigate them alone.
As a small, tight-knit team, we prioritize genuine relationships and top-tier service. Our experienced attorney leads with strategic purpose and clarity, and our friendly staff is always ready to help.
When we're not in the office, you might find us hiking local trails, baking bread, visiting a weekend fair or market, or giving our dog some well-earned belly rubs. We have a soft spot for handmade goods, homegrown creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.
We’re not just here to give legal advice—we’re here to be your guide, your advocate, and your partner in protecting your legal rights.
Welcome to our firm. We're so glad you're here.
Attorney Jane Schmaltz
I am a dedicated legal professional with a passion for both the law and the equestrian world. When I am not advocating for my clients, I am spending time with my off-the-track Thoroughbred. Being a horse owner means I embrace the challenges, joys and veterinary bills that go with owning my retired racehorse. I am a devoted dog lover and have never met a pup I didn’t adore.
In my free time, I continue my quest to master the art of bread making and hope to start leatherworking projects in 2025.
